National Account Executive
The National Account Executive (NAE) is responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand experience. The NAE will lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate company business goals. Maintains, and plans the overall policies and goals for the business development department in their region. Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals as set by senior management. Additionally, the NAE ensures business growth strategies are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plan
- Increase overall sales and maintain current accounts while promoting the AEG Brand for new potential business.
- Responsible for sales related expenses to make sure money is spent wisely with an ROI
- Responsible for creating a master account list and keeping the list up to date.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
- Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offers to satisfy customers’ needs.
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
- Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
- Assist the accounting department with collection of outstanding receivables as needed.
Skills and Abilities
- Sound and Proven Business Acumen
- Proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of management practices
- Demonstrated project and budget management skills
- Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Sales Force, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing or similar field required
- 5+ years Sales Management required
- Presentation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Salesforce, and Outlook
- Disaster recovery, Insurance Restoration, Claims Consulting, and/or Environmental Claims Consulting experience is an advantage
