Summary

The Account Representative will focus on growing existing business by finding new and relevant opportunities. Responsible for developing an attainable business development strategy and focused on financial gain for the company and arrange business development meetings with prospective clients.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Establish relationships with potential new clients
  • Solicit potential clients for lead opportunities
  • Attend industry events to develop network and client base
  • Follow through with leads opportunities
  • Research potential accounts within their targeted markets and pursue leads.
  • Collaborate successful agreements or arrangements with clients
  • Understanding of their target markets and collaborate with design and sales teams at organizations to ensure the requirements and protocol are met.
  • Attend business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company's products and services while addressing or predicting clients’ current and future objectives.
  • Meeting a sales quota
  • Updating reports routinely
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales metrics
  • Respond in a timely manner to all clients, colleagues, and customers’ needs

Education and Experience Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing or similar field preferred
  • 3+ years in Business Development required
  • Presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Salesforce, and Outlook
